Last Friday 22nd and Saturday, September 23rd, the beautiful municipality of Melide, Switzerland, was the frame of the prestigious Open House of Residenza Villa Branca, the latest real estate project signed by Chiancianesi & Longoni.
The residence, which boasts a wonderful view of Lake Lugano, was made available to the public, investors and the press, who were able to explore the common spaces and the apartments still on sale.
During the event, it was also possible to look at the Bimota models just released from the factory together with the best specimens of the past. Bimota is a manufacturer of super sports bikes considered by lovers around the world “art on two wheels”.
The Open House was also attended by the mayor of Melide, Angelo Geninazzi, who said: “In the last six or seven years, Melide, a municipality with about 1800 inhabitants, has experienced a boom in infrastructure investments (over 10 million francs ) and today it is a particularly desirable place for families and those who work in the neighboring areas, in Lugano’s industrial park. Melide until two years ago was three and a half hours away from Zurich with public transportation. Today, the distance has been reduced to two and a half hours, and in the next three years there will be a further decrease in travel time, which will go down to two hours. This factor, along with the proximity to the entrance to the highway and the fact that Melide offers a lot of services of enviable quality, has created a “problem” if so it can be defined: in our municipality there is now a high demand for apartments. I think ours is one of the luckiest countries, because we are also benefiting from a very important and positive recovery from a tourist point of view as well. Living in Melide gives a familiar feeling, you can feel at home, there are many opportunities to integrate into a community that has always welcomed people in a positive way”.
The mission of the Chiancianesi & Longoni real estate company, as says Marco Chiancianesi, co-owner of the company, is to create “objects that give value to the territory” and to enter it in an autochton way, without creating any contrasts. Marco Chiancianesi also states that “the real art of society is to create homes for man and the family. We are very careful about the finishing touches: the customer always wants the best, wants the good at the right price and we try to give him the right equation between the expense and the material. In our business, we take into account all parties: who sells, buyerss, artisans … the right equation between price, quality, aesthetics is the value that I think a business must have”.
